ABOUT ME

​As a designer, I embrace the fluidity and transformation of lived moments. My body of work reflects my individual, everyday encounters with the natural environments that surround me. It is rooted in my relationship with the natural world and its constant evolution, including its motifs, patterns, and rhythms. By blending trend forecasting research with organic inspiration, I create contemporary designs that carry a vintage, handcrafted feeling.

 

Through pattern, weaving, and embellishment, I aim to cultivate a deeper emotional connection with the natural environment while advocating for a more ethical and sustainable future in textile design.  I strive to design and create a variety of home textiles that are both beautiful and functional. Each piece invites the viewer to find a sense of connection, memory, and environmental awareness in their own lives.

This May, I graudated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Fashion Design, Spanish, and a certificate in Sustainability. I am currently based in Madison, WI.
